FEEDER SALES

Friday, November 18th

Sale starts at 12 o’clock noon and will run through 8 PM Friday night. Sale will resume at 10 o’clock on Saturday morning and go until it’s done.

Nevada livestock marketing will be buying rooms for all active buyers and a free breakfast at 8 AM. 

We do not sell cattle in the order in which they come in, but we do sell cattle by order of size and quality. The bigger cattle and the plainer cattle will sell later. There will be some really good cattle that will sell on Saturday and in the past the cattle that sold on Saturday actually did better then they did on Friday, as buyers are pushing to finish loads. So as a consigner I would not be concerned about my cattle not selling Friday. We’re going to sell them as fast and as high as we can, but it takes a certain amount of time to get them all through the ring.

**Truckers please unload at northwest chute. Unloading at south end causes bottlenecks at the brand inspection chute and we need to keep cattle rolling.

We have scheduled a sale December 2nd to help spread out the numbers. Hopefully California gets more rain by then.

Starting in September we will go back to Friday Feeder Sales. ALL SALES BEGIN AT 12:00 NOON
