Next Feeder Sale on Friday, December 19, 2025 Starting at 10:00 A.M.
Nice to see the market rebound, Tyson plant closure, “lowering the price of beef” talk out of Washington DC and in the media took its toll on the market but we knew all along the fundamentals had not changed. The positive fundamentals finally “Trumped” the bad news and this market came roaring back especially on the grass cattle. California is off to a great grass season, and the temperature swings have finally stabilized. A lot of 60 day weaned calves yesterday and that really is helping prices.
We had some dandy strings of calves yesterday and they sold extremely well. Next Feeder Sale December 19th and it should be another big sale. We already have several nice consignments. Thank you everyone for your support. And thank you to our hard-working crew that continues to pull through for us every time. We had a Bred Cow sale Wednesday night and that put us way behind for the Friday sale but somehow our crew pulled it off again.

Please let your friends, family and neighbors know the USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins event has been delayed. Please share this post and tell your non-Facebook neighbors, friends and family. We have a bunch of beef and lamb processed and plan to serve BBQ style to the attendees of the event when a new date is set. We will be looking for volunteers to help. We are very fortunate to be blessed with a president and a cabinet that cares about the ranching industry. Please try to show up to support them at this event. Improving public land grazing is a top priority for the Trump administration, DOI and USDA so that topic will be the main focus of this event. However, this administration knows there’s much more needed to help and encourage the American ranchers. Stay tuned.
