Due to the ongoing Government shutdown Secretary Brooke Rollins and her staff have decided to reschedule the October 23rd event for a later date in November. Hopefully in doing so She will have more time with folks from the western ranching communities. On the 23rd She would have only been able to stay for around 2 hours. We will keep all of you updated so that you can plan. Another blessing in the delay is it gives us more time to work with Mrs Rollins on the real issues driving producers off the ranches and hopefully enough time for policy changes to be made. She is excited about the round table discussions with members of the industry and We will be working to get topics and questions from all of you for those meetings

We have a bunch of beef and lamb processed and plan to serve BBQ style to the attendees of the event when aa new date is set. We will be looking for volunteers to help. We are very fortunate to be blessed with a president and a cabinet that cares about the ranching industry. Please try to show up to support them at this event. Improving public land grazing is a top priority for the Trump administration, DOI and USDA so that topic will be the main focus of this event. However, this administration knows there’s much more needed to help and encourage the American ranchers. Stay tuned. Please share!

We had a meeting with a small group of independent ranchers from the west with USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins in Washington DC. Our focus was on public land grazing but had the opportunity to talk about our broken beef system and this unbelievable wolf situation as well.
